Plugin installation and initial setup

Now that we have our plugin chosen, perform the following steps to install and set it up:

1. To get WooCommerce, you can either go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/, or install it straight from the wp-admin panel when you go to Plugins | Add New.
2. Just input WooCommerce into the main search field. Most likely, the first plugin on the list is the one you're looking for.

3. Click on Install Now and when the process finishes, activate the plugin. The following screenshot shows what you'll see afterward:

4. WooCommerce shows you the main page of the onscreen setup wizard. The best thing about it is that you're being guided through the whole process step by step.
