Stewed Peas

Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Place the peas in a pan. Cover them with filtered water. Add 1 tsp. of kosher salt.
2. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer.
3. Cover pan. Cook till softened. Add water as needed.
4. Stir, then mash the peas. Add sugar and butter as desired. Serve.
