Beef and Cabbage Skillet Supper Recipe | Real Simple

Instructions:
1. Rinse cabbage and cut it into large-sized wedges. Cut beef in large pieces.
2. Pour water in large sized pot.
3. Layer meat and cabbage in pot and salt between the layers. Begin and end with cabbage layers.
4. Add whole pepper to tea strainer to contain it. Place in pot with cabbage and meat.
5. Cover pot and bring to boil. Lower temperature to gentle boil. Add water as needed and don’t allow pot to dry. Allow to cook for two to two and a half hours till meat is tender and easily pulled apart.
6. Pour meat stock over the beef and potatoes. Serve cabbage and meat with the potatoes boiled in water.
