Five-Oh
With the waves of Five-Oh, maybe the letter “E” was an obvious choice to use for a letterform. I thought about whether I should change some of the wave directions too, so they’d look like they were crashing into each other. Maybe that’s something you can try.
Five-Oh also makes an ideal tangle for the outline of a letterform, like the letter “I.” The shape of the “I” was such that the waves extending out seemed perfect. What other letterforms can you make work with Five-Oh? Put your best Tim Gunn thinking caps on!
