Choosing Stixnstonez for shapes really continues last week’s exercise of letterforms. However, because of the grid-nature of Stixnstonez, I deliberately chose shapes that are curvy or uneven in nature so you can see how it can be used that way, too.
In the treble clef example, obviously the Stixnstonez was used as the background. Applying it evenly behind the curved nature of the treble clef shape, however, took some thinking and concentration—and even so, it’s not completely even.

If you’re looking for shapes to draw, look inside kids’ books, on the Internet and at photographs you might have. There are shapes everywhere you look! Look for basic shapes and outlines, and add the points of interest through your tangles instead of through the shape itself.
