Tiramissoo, Rain
Tiramissoo is a tangle that invites color in all its glory. And I am happy to confess that, in these examples, I’ve been a little color happy—lots of it! Although I might not normally add color like this, it’s a great way to show how color can influence a tangle and, in this case, how many colors can be included.
This example is actually a tangleation—a large triangle with Tiramissoo manipulated within it. It not only spills color, it also shows ways the tangle can work in another environment.
Tiramissoo, Tipple
The second example is more traditional in its design, but I used various color combinations and black Tipple in the corners. I confess that I don’t love the multiple use of color in Tiramissoo, but we learn as much from our mistakes as our successes in Zentangle, so I thought it important to include anyway. You might love it, and that’s OK.
Tiramissoo can be multicolored, or you can use a limited palette—whatever suits your own art. Practice various color combinations here.
