STUFFED CHOCO-DATES

INGREDIENTS

4 Medjool dates

About 2 tbsp nut butter (my personal favorites are peanut butter and sunflower seed butter)

About 2 tbsp unsweetened chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

The idea here is to create a sweet “taco” in a sense, where the date is the shell and the nut butter and chocolate chips are the filling. Remove the pits in the dates by cutting into the top lengthwise just until you hit the pit. Don’t cut all the way through. Remove the pits.

Spoon some nut butter into the opening of each date “shell.” Top with chocolate chips lined along the opening, about 4 to 5 chips per date.

Serve, and enjoy!
