As Sheriff Ourso was leaving for the night, Mr. Robinson came into the office. He felt bad for Mr. Robinson; he stopped by almost every night to see if there had been any new development on Dylan and the other missing persons.
“Sheriff Ourso, have you found my son yet?”
“No, sir, I’m sorry we haven’t found him or the others yet. We are trying our best to locate them. We just have not had any breaks in the case as of yet.”
“What else can I do to help?”
“Sir, you have done everything you can. Dylan’s photo has been posted all over town and the story has even been picked up by the news networks. The paper runs an article at least once a week about the missing people in town. We just aren’t getting any good leads.”
“He’s out there somewhere. You must find him! Have you searched the lake, just in case they are dead?”
“Yes, sir, we had some divers volunteer their time and equipment to search the area and they didn’t find anything.”
“How long ago was that? I’ll pay them to search again.”
“Mr. Robinson, they aren’t there. As soon as I hear something, you will be the first to know. Do you want me to drive you home?”
Tears formed in Mr. Robinson’s eyes. “No, I’m going to go over to the dealership and check on Josh.”
Sheriff Ourso knew Mr. Robinson was overcome with grief and was frustrated that his son hadn’t been found. If only there was something more that he could do.
It was well after dark when Sheriff Ourso made it home. He walked inside and let the darkness envelop him. His heart and mind were heavy and he was just so damn tired. They were no closer today than they were in the beginning to finding the missing persons.
He slowly made it into the main part of the house and turned on some lights. He wasn’t hungry, but he should eat something. He looked out into the night and wondered where they were. The missing people had to be alive, somewhere out there. He wanted nothing more than to find them and bring their families some relief from the overwhelming grief they must be feeling right now.
He poured a scotch and water before worrying with supper. He was digging through the fridge for leftovers when he heard a knock at the door. It was Hannah.
Frank was glad to see her. “This is a pleasant surprise.”
“I missed seeing your face and figured you may want supper. I fixed shrimp scampi and a cheesecake for dessert.”
“Sounds perfect. I was digging through the refrigerator, looking at the leftovers.”
After supper, they settled down on the couch to watch television. Hannah tilted her head up and pressed her lips to his. He returned the kiss with an increasing fervor.
Kissing Hannah, Frank let his thoughts drift away, focusing on her and the way she made him feel. He threaded his fingers through her hair and kissed her deeper, bringing her closer to him. He let his hands wander over her body, marveling at her feel. He stroked her back, kneading her muscles. He felt her slowly unbutton his shirt, pushing it off of him. He lightly massaged her breasts, teasing her nipples. Heat radiated from her body.
Frank picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He placed her on the bed and removed her clothes. His mouth found her bare breast and suckled gently. Hannah let out a moan, as desire overcame her. “I need you now.”
She rolled on top of him and took him into her mouth, teasing him, as he teased her. His breathing became labored. “Hannah, I want to be inside you, now. You are driving me crazy.” His thrusts became faster and more urgent, until they both climaxed together. Panting heavily, they both screamed out together, coming hard.
