Function procedures

These procedures are the ones that make complex calculations, especially those that have to do with mathematics. When they are done with their calculation, the function procedures will return a value into a designated cell of your choice. You will not be coding the function procedures from scratch. Instead, you will insert a particular mathematical formula that you need to use somewhere in your code, and Excel will do the rest automatically. For example, you will not write “add the following numbers” into the code that you are making. Instead, you will type “SUM” and then select the cells that needed to be added up together.
