Baby!” yelled Doja from the back room.
Precious walked to the bedroom door at Doja’s spot. “What’s up baby?”
He looked at his girl and was happy to know that she was down to Earth. Just a few weeks ago, she had attended Destiny’s funeral with Doja, and she played her position. After the funeral, she also went with Doja to Destiny’s Aunt Linda’s apartment in the Gardens. Precious followed Doja to the door carrying a black duffle bag, but Precious never knew exactly how much money was in the bag, she just knew that it was a lot. Linda opened the door, but Doja and Precious never went in the apartment. He told her to give Linda the bag, so she did and they headed back to the car after he gave Linda a hug and told her to holla if she needed anything. Linda agreed and walked back in the house with the bag. When she opened the bag on the kitchen table, she damn near passed out because she never seen so much money in her life at one time or at all really. He had just gave her $100,000. It was chump change to him now that he was he and his squad were making major moves. Doja was snapped out of his thoughts when Precious straddled him and kissed him on the lips.
“What’s up baby?” asked Precious again.
“Oh yeah, I need you to roll with me to handle some important business,” said Doja as he caressed Precious's ass.
She stood up. “When baby? You know I got you.”
He smiled. “Well get dressed so we can slide out.”
Precious went to the closet and pulled out some Apple bottom Jeans with the matching shirt along with a matching hoodie. She took a shower and got dressed. When she finally got ready and went into the living room, Doja was in there smoking a purp blunt waiting on her. Doja had on some all black retro 5 Jordan's, all black Parish Jeans, all black tee, and a black hoodie with a black fitted hat. Doja stood up and looked at Precious.
“Damn! You should be a model for Apple Bottom the way you rockin that baby.”
Precious smiled. “Boy please. I ready.”
They headed outside, and Doja locked the door behind him after he had set the alarm. He then chirped the alarm on his Benz he bought. He opened the car door for Precious and then headed to the other side of the car. He got into the car and as they headed to their destination he broke down the plan and situation to Precious. She put her hand on his hand.
“I love you, and I can’t neither do I want to change that. I’ma rider to the end for you. I been told you I was all in.”
Before Doja could get a word out, Precious cut him off.
“If you haven’t noticed, I’ll die for you with no second thought,” she said.
Nothing else needed to be said as they headed to their destination. It took them about 35 to 40 minutes to get to the private air strip in Jedburg. That’s where they were headed to meet Doja’s plug, who had been playing him lately. When they got there, Doja parked in the shadows of the meeting area. He and Precious got out and headed towards the meeting area, by the aircraft hanger. As they were walking up they seen “Big Kuntry” with two more of his redneck pig fuckers, which he called his bodyguards. Before they got all the way up there, Doja switched the duffle bag he was carrying from his right hand to his left. He then grabbed Precious’s left hand with his right hand.
“Ain’t no turning back baby,” he said.
Precious took a quick breath. “Just say the word so I can rock that redneck ass of theirs.”
He smiled and they continued to walk closer. When they got to Big Kuntry, he was sittin at the table with 15 keys, 7 compressed bags of ecstasy, and a little bag of some Canadian nuggets. By the time Doja and Precious got to the area close enough to the redneck, Doja had already peeped the scene. It was only Kuntry, a bitch sittin by him with a blue razor edge puppy, and two dirty white rednecks. Doja dropped the duffel bag by his side.
“After you and your two flunkies finish fucking your sister there, I got 120 stacks for my shit. I got a block to bleed you fuckin cow.”
Kuntry looked up. “Well if it ain’t my favorite nigga. And look you brought a nigga bitch to.”
Kuntry and his people laughed at the very unfunny joke.
“You better watch yo mouth before you be missin something besides your teeth, like maybe your tongue,” said Doja with a smirk. He hated dealing with this bastard but he knew it would all end soon.
Kuntry threw Doja a brick and he sampled the coke on his tongue. After Doja was clear that it was certified, he motioned for Precious to throw the dufflebag to the redneck fucker. She threw the bag but he didn’t check it, Kuntry just motioned for his men to bag the 15 bricks up in a duffle bag. Kuntry’s bodyguard slid Doja the bag and showed his dick to Precious. As he did that the rednecks laughed.
“Now get yo monkey ass out of here before I fuck that black cunt and make you watch. Then me and my boys will fuck her in the ass, then feed you both to the gators,” said Kuntry.
Precious blood was boiling and Doja was ready to squeeze shots. But they played it cool, because the duffle bag they brought had nothing but newspapers and phone books. As they were walking out they heard Kuntry say, “What the fuck do you take me for?”
“Bar none!” said Doja. As soon as the words slipped out his mouth he and Precious both spun around aiming Glock 40s with red beams. Precious squeezed off five shots first. She hit the girl once in the face and once in the throat. The other three shots hit the dude holding the shotgun, who was the guy that showed Precious his dick. The first shot hit his left shoulder and the other two hit the heart area. Doja managed to hit the other bodyguard twice in the forehead, and he shot Kuntry numerous times in the chest and once in the head. He ran back and shot the dude who Precious shot twice in the head. When he ran back in the hangar, he loaded the 7 compressed bags of ecstasy, which looked like a colorful key of cocaine, into the bag that he and Precious brought. He slid that bag to Precious, and picked up the bags containing the bricks. As they were running back to the car, they heard something following them. They both turned around with their guns drawn ready to squeeze, but to their surprise it was the blue razor edge puppy.
Doja snatched the puppy up as they got closer to the car, and he put the bags in the trunk and the puppy in the backseat. He drove down the private strip airway road with no lights on. Once he made sure no cars or anything were coming, he crossed HWY 78 and drove until he got on the interstate. He and Precious kissed as they headed to their apartment. As they pulled up to Doja’s spot, he was deep in thought about where his life was headed and how could he have a better life for him and Precious. He backed the car in the driveway, and got the bags out the trunk as Precious grabbed the puppy. He pulled out his key, unlocked the door, and took the alarm off of the house. Before he closed the door, he hit the alarm on the Benz and headed into the bedroom. When he walked in the bedroom, Precious was sitting on the floor playing with the puppy as if nothing just had happened. She was happy and smiling ear to ear as she played with the puppy. Doja smiled at the sight of her sitting there.
“What are you naming him?” he asked.
She sat and thought for a while. “What do you think about Nino?”
He smiled. “That’s yo puppy so I guess Nino is part of the family now.”
She stood up with Nino in one arm and kissed and hugged Doja with her other.
“You not going to be babyin him up either,” he said.
She smiled. “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
She put Nino down and headed into the bathroom with Nino at her heels. Doja shook his head and smiled. He took the bags and headed into the “Playroom” as Precious called it. He went in and closed the door behind him as he made a call to Skyp.
“Yo Skyp this Doja! Ready to take shit over?” said Doja with a grin of pure evil on his face.
It was quiet for a few seconds. “Bar none! I all in,” said Skyp.
“I’ll call you in the morning because we got to get some shit in order. Let Exotic, Pistol, and Flight Risk know that we meetin tomorrow morning here at my spot on Sandpiper, aiight.”
“Say no more.”
Before Doja hung up he had one more final thing to say. “Skyp! She certified.”
Without a word being said, Skyp already knew what Doja was talking about. Doja sat thinking to himself about all the work he got, and that he didn’t owe anybody nothing for it. He also thought about how he was going to get Precious into Cosmetology school because he wanted to open up a salon for her. He had never discussed it with her but he knew she loved to do hair. He let the thought pass him for now, because he was worried about what was in front of him. He looked at his bezeled out Rolex and it was two diamonds pass 12, which meant it was 12:10AM. He pulled out the first block of ecstasy, opened the package, and started counting. When he finally got finish counting all the pills in the first package, it was 1:17AM. He came up with a total of 3,500, so he figured it was the same with the other packages of ecstasy.
Doja sat by himself deep in thought and did the math. He figured that he would sell the first 3 blocks of ecstasy for $10 a pill, which meant that he would sell each block for $35,000 a block. He would sell another 3 blocks of ecstasy for $15,500, which means it would be $5 a pill. And the pack that he already had open he would keep for his personal stash. After he had put the pills back in the pack, he pulled the keys of coke out and started grinning to himself because he knew shit was bout to get even realer. Plus, he knew he was bout to be breaded even more than what he was now. He had turned seventeen a few months ago, and he has certainly been on his shit more since then. He placed the coke back in the bag and decided to go check on his future wife to be. After he stashed the work in his closet in the “playroom,” he headed into his bedroom. When he got to his bedroom, Precious was layin on top of the comforter playing with Nino. He smiled as he took off his shirt, and placed his watch on the nightstand. He took the glock .40 off his waist and placed it in a shoe box under his bed. He told Precious to him the glock .40 she had and she did. He placed the glock in the same box with the other one, because he knew he had to get rid of both glocks tomorrow. He opened the nightstand and pulled out his glock .17 that’s clean and placed it on top of the nightstand. He watched Precious for a moment, then he broke the silence.
“One day things will be different, but for now I need you to stay 100.”
Precious looked at him. “What we did tonight was some other shit, that normal couples don’t do.” They both laughed a little before she continued. “I’m down for you. I’ll die for you. I’m apart of you, and I got to deal with the consequences that came with the life we chose to live. So never question or wonder about us, I got you like you got me.”
He smiled. “Things will get better soon. And I got something for you.” He got up and her the keys to a Yukon she didn’t see in the driveway with another key on the same key chain. He handed her a piece of paper that had directions on it.
She looked at him dumbfounded. “Why you give me the keys to a truck and I can’t use them?”
He smiled. “Hit the alarm key.”
Soon as she hit the alarm, she heard a loud ass alarm screaming outside. She shot from the bed with nino right behind her and she ran to look out the front door. She pressed the button to cut the alarm off, and sure as shit, it was a 2007 Yukon outside. It was black on black, with some black 28-inch Gonja Davins. When she turned around, Doja was standing in the hallway rolling a gar, smiling.
“Check out the interior,” he said.
She shot out the front door and headed to the truck. When she got to it, she opened the door and almost fell out at the Baby Phat interior. She had 8-inch in-dash, two 17-inch flip downs and 3 12’s in the back. She read the license plate and it said “So Gutta.” Doja sat on the porch smoking his gar and smiling as he watched Precious bug out in the front yard. He was mesmerized by her body, and definitely her presence. She had on a tank top, some cheerleader shorts, some footies, and a silk Gucci scarf on her head. She was like a kid in the candy store with $100. He called Precious over to the porch where he was sitting and she sat on his lap. She covered him in kisses.
“Baby where did this other key come from because it don’t go to nothing in the truck,” she said.
He wanted to tell her but then it wouldn’t be a surprise. “Follow the directions in the morning and you’ll see what the key is for.”
She hugged him tight and then they both headed into the house. Nino ran around the driveway chasing a cat, but then he saw his new owners going in the house so that’s where he headed to. See, he bought Precious the truck for a couple of reasons. She always wanted a black SUV, she had just gotten her driver’s license a few weeks earlier, and plus Christmas and her birthday were around the corner. But he had some other shit planned for her birthday. The next morning came and Precious was like a kid at Christmas time. She got up around 10 o’clock, washed up and got dressed. She was wearing all Baby Phat everything. From the shirt and jeans to the glasses and pocketbook. Doja was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for him. But he knew that his comrades would be there soon, so he cooked well over enough. Precious entered the kitchen, grabbed a turkey sausage link and told him that she was leaving. He stopped her at the door and threw her a fat knot. He told her to take Keema shopping with her and be careful. She stepped back in the house and gave Doja a deep passionate kiss as she hit the remote start on her Yukon. He smiled at Precious.
“I love you. Be easy,” he said.
“I love you to,” she said as she walked out of the door.
Precious followed the directions she was given and came up to a building that had looked very vacant. No people were around, but there was a Ford Explorer with a faded grey paint job parked on the other side of the road. She pulled out the paper to make sure she had the right suit number. After she was sure of the correct address, she exited the truck and hit her alarm. She got to the building door, unlocked it and headed inside. She searched around for the light switch until she finally found it and turned the lights on. She was so shocked she stood there with her hands over her mouth as she read the big mirror on the wall.
“To the love of whom I’m head over heels for, I give you this salon because I told you we would have better days. This is a start for us to live better, I hope you like it. Your husband to be, Doja.”
She stood there with happiness in her eyes. She headed to the back office, and when she got there she noticed that something was vibrating. Her intuition made her clutch her .380 that was in her bag and as she clutched her tone he leaped out of the closet. She closed her eyes and squeezed, five shots rang out from her bag because she never got the chance to raise the gun from out her pocketbook. The guy managed to get his hands around her neck, but then his hands went limp as the bullets struck his body. He hit the floor with a loud thud, and Precious almost panicked but she remembered how Doja always told her to keep her cool. She pulled the ski mask off of the dead dude and it was Lil Sammie. She got on her cell phone and called Doja immediately.
“Hello, you like the shop?” asked Doja smiling on the other end of the phone.
“I love the shop, except for the situation situation,” she said.
“Situation situation?” he asked confused.
“Yeah! And why you still talking to me and not on your way yet!” she yelled. Niggas could be so dense sometimes and she didn’t have time for the shits right now.
“Just chill, we swervin now,” he said.
She knew that meant that Doja was coming with his squad. See, Lil Sammie had overheard through the grapevine that Doja had gotten Precious a salon. Nobody knew what Sammie was up to, not even Joshie. See, Lil Sammie had just broke into the salon fifteen minutes before Precious pulled up. So it just happened to be a coincidence, because he had planned on kidnapping her anyways. But, it didn’t fall out on Lil Sammie’s behalf, and the thing about was, nobody knew Lil Sammie was there. So nobody knew where to begin looking. He didn’t expect to see anyone there, though he was strapped, he never got the .38 snug nose in the front of his pants. Precious had already walked to the front of the salon a few times and to the back to see if anyone heard the shots. But the gunshots were so smothered by the big pocketbook, you couldn’t have really heard it anyway. She heard a few car doors closed, and she pulled her gun out and hid by the shampoo room. She cocked her gun and moved in the shadows of the salon. She didn’t know if it was more of the dead guys people or Doja and his squad.
As the door crept open in the back, she seen a guy’s shadow and she stepped out and put the tone to his head ready to squeeze. But it was Exotic, and as she turned to the front of the salon she saw Doja, Skyp, and Flight Risk coming through the front door with their hands clutching their guns. Lil Pistol came through the back door with two glock 17’s in his hands. Before she could get a word out Doja looked at her.
“Where?” he asked.
Precious pointed to the back office.
Doja, Skyp, and Flight Risk looked down on the floor at the guy and then looked at each other confused.
“So these niggas wanna play huh?” said Doja.
Skyp looked at Doja and Flight Risk. “We gotta move this nigga out here, quick.”
Doja thought to himself a little before he finally spoke. “How did he know about this salon? And how did he get here?”
“That might be his Explorer across the street,” said Precious
They all looked, and Skyp searched Lil Sammie pocket for some keys, and there they were. Explorer car keys. Skyp threw the keys to Lil Pistol and told him to bring the truck to the back door, as he left to go get the truck the rest of them were trying to get their thoughts together. Lil Pistol pulled around back in the Explorer, and Skyp and Doja put Lil Sammie’s body in the back of the truck.
“Nobody say nothing about this. Exotic, you and Lil Pistol follow me. Precious, go pick up Keema, hit the spa and tear the mall up. Flight, hit the block and call a meeting. Skyp, ride with me in the Explorer,” said Doja as he threw Exotic the keys to the Benz and everybody made moves.
