Rob Connell Clarke is a native-born Californian. He wrote and illustrated The Botany and Ecology of Cannabis as his undergraduate thesis at University of California at Santa Cruz where he graduated with honors. He later self-published his thesis and started Pods Press in Ben Lomond, California.

 

Clarke has published articles in High Times Magazine and other journals on his favorite subject. As a well-known Cannabis photographer, his photos and illustrations have appeared in numerous magazines, books, posters and calendars.

 

Clarke continues to travel throughout the West interviewing cultivators and fellow researchers. Clarke carries on active correspondence with the major Cannabis researchers throughout the world and this is reflected in the depth and accuracy of his writings on Cannabis.
