In addition to the topics in this book and my suggestions for recovery, I want to emphasize the importance of seeking professional support if you are in an acute stage of an eating disorder or struggling with your identity or sexuality.

Below is a list of beginner-level resources I have compiled. Some are national and some are New York-based. I encourage you to search online to locate current support groups, counselors, therapists, and other resources in your local area.
