DOUGLAS BRINKLEY is a professor of history at Rice University, a presidential historian, and a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. He is the author of several New York Times Notable Books and bestsellers, including The Great Deluge and Cronkite. He lives in Austin, Texas.

 

 

LUKE A. NICHTER is an associate professor of history at Texas A&M University, Central Texas, and a noted expert on the Nixon tapes. He is the author of Richard Nixon and Europe: The Reshaping of the Postwar Atlantic World. He lives in Harker Heights, Texas.
