TEST KITCHEN TIP: CUTTING UP BUTTERNUT SQUASH
When preparing butternut squash, we find it easiest to peel the squash and then divide it into two sections, the long neck and the curved bottom, before cutting it into chunks.
1. After cutting bottom section in half vertically, scoop out seeds and fibers with large spoon. Slice each half into evenly sized lengths, then cut lengths into chunks according to recipe.
2. Cut neck section into evenly sized planks, then cut planks into chunks according to recipe.
