FROM THE AUTHOR

Dear Reader,

Did you enjoy your Halloween treat?

I really enjoyed writing this one. It was a lot of fun to try to balance “evidence” of Séraphin’s supernatural origins with, well… reality. Though if you prefer, you can let yourself imagine that Séraphin might have been telling an untruth. Maybe he was once a vampire after all. Maybe Andre still is.

For what it’s worth - I actually did start making a list of all the “clues” and “hints” that Séraphin might be a vampire. The list did go over thirty items before I just stopped updating it. And, yes, some of the “evidence” was extremely small and flimsy, but if it were a paranormal romance, it all would have fit together nicely, wouldn’t it?

Did you enjoy Evan? If so, you can read another story where he appears. In Crossing Paths, he dates a computer programmer/entrepreneur named Dodge for awhile and you’ll get a taste of how he torments his lovers as much as his friends. You can find a link to purchase the book with the list of other books I’ve written. Eventually, Evan will get his own story. I just haven’t “met” the right guy for him yet.

The real ‘trick’ to Bewitched, Bothered, and Bitten is that it’s got me wanting to write a story about the actors who play the vampire and werewolf in Shadow Gate Apartments. I’ve even written down the premise. I’m not promising to write it anytime soon, though. You might want to head over to my blog (http://juleswhimsy.blogspot.com/) and sign up for my mailing list so you’ll know when it comes out, if you’re interested.

Yours humbly,

-JW
