Mother’s welcome-home party was a smashing success! The music was golden, thanks to Lagoona’s great choices, and Clawdeen’s suggestions about the decorations helped to create just the right atmosphere. Draculaura and Frankie came up with some great suggestions for the food. Together, my ghoulfriends and I pulled off the perfect party! And all the guests had a creeperific time. All in all, it was a party worthy of the de Nile name, and one that the guest of honor truly enjoyed.

The ghouls and Deuce couldn’t stop talking about how amazing my mom is. I can’t wait to make up for lost time with her. We have a long list of boo-vies to catch up on; and now that she’s met Deuce and all my ghoulfriends, we have so much to talk about!

My mom might not be the most glamorous woman I know anymore—she’s not even glamorous at all anymore—but it made me feel really good to hear my ghoulfriends say I’m a lot like her. I want to be even more like her. I don’t think I will be adopting her style any time soon… and that’s okay. She’s her, and I am me. And I’m happy for both of us!
