Epilogue

Sometimes the hardest part of doing a spell is choosing which spell to do and what correspondences should be included. When someone looks through a spellbook to find a particular spell, they often check the name of the spell to see if that name fits their circumstances. If none of the names apply, or if the name isn’t specific to the problem, they may feel that the spell isn’t the right one. This isn’t necessarily the case. Here are a few helpful tips:

• Pick the description that most closely matches your need.

• Check the moon phase to determine whether you should concentrate on banishing or manifesting. Remember, regardless of the moon phase, you can always banish on a Saturday and you can manifest on the other days by using the magick of the day and an appropriate planetary hour if you have an emergency. Add this rider to your spell: “May all astrological correspondences be correct for this working.” (Originally written by Laurie Cabot.)

• You can massage the wording of any spell to match your needs.

• You don’t need tons of stuff to cast a spell. If you can’t find an ingredient, then substitute something that closely matches the original ingredient. Keep Scott Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magickal Herbs (Llewellyn, 1992) on hand for herbal substitutions.

• Don’t be afraid to do research.

• If you are worried about the results of a spell, you can add the rider: “May this spell not reverse, or place upon me any curse.” (Originally written by Sybil Leek.)

There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think of you, the reader. With every word I write, every seminar I do, every ritual I perform, I always think about how you are doing and hope that my work continues to assist you on your spiritual path. Although this book is small, I think we covered a lot of positive magickal ground. Remember to work both manifesting and banishing magick when performing magick for your overall prosperity. Once you get your finances straightened out and are experiencing abundance, keep working to enhance your lifestyle. Don’t stop because everything’s okay now. Just keep going!

Much love and luck to you in your future endeavors!
