Today, families are nuclear, blended, or dysfunctional. (Just kidding. Sort of.)

Native American tribes are structured a little differently — clans and bands are the organizational units — and in this part we’ll learn how tribe members combine and interact with each other, and who does what in the American Indian family both in the past, and in these modern times.

You’ll also learn about Native languages, both spoken and written, and study Indians’ religious practices and faiths.
