“You gotta stop that.”
“Stop what?” I purred. I rolled into Throttle and draped my arm over his chest.
“That hip roll. Fucking hell, woman. I thought I saw stars,” Throttle growled.
I knew he had wanted to take me out to eat, but I had other plans in mind. Thankfully, the bar had delivery, and we managed to scarf down the best burger I had ever had between rounds one and two.
I trailed my fingers down his chest and laid my head on his shoulder. “I’m glad you liked that.”
“I like everything you do, doll.”
A sigh escaped my lips. “Right back at you, Throttle. You sort of annoyed me for a bit, but now even you breathing turns me on.”
“Glad you like me breathing,” he chuckled.
I slapped his chest. “Don’t make fun of me. This is the best day I have had in a long time, and I want it to stay that way. My best friend married the perfect man for her in this amazing place, and you guys figured out who blew up the gym. There aren’t many ways this day could get better.”
“You naked in my arms is going to make every day perfect. We should come back here when we’re ready to–.” Throttle’s words died in his throat, and I tipped my head back to look at him.
“Were you going to say we should come back here when we’re ready to get married?”
Throttle’s eyes darted side to side. “Uh, well.”
“Because I would really like that, though I think I would need more people with us. I’m sure Sloane wouldn’t change anything about today because she got to marry Aero, but having the club here would have given this day five stars.”
“Doll,” he drawled.
“Yes, Throttle. I knew what you were going to say, and it doesn’t scare me. Sure, we just got together, but don’t most people who get into relationships hope they are going to end in marriage? At least for a bit?” I rambled. “Though the thought of marriage was fleeting in all of my relationships. Most of the time, I tried to picture myself walking down the aisle toward them, and I just couldn’t see it. Hell, most of the time, I laughed at the thought. Coming back to Golden to get married is a great one because even though I don’t like my dad some days, I would want him with me when we get married because he came here with my mom when I was younger, and that makes me feel like she would approve of coming here to marry you.” I needed to shut up. I was just trying to explain to Throttle that marriage wasn’t terrifying. Especially not with him. “I’m rambling.” The best way to stop rambling was to announce you were rambling. “Sorry.”
Throttle pressed a kiss to my lips. “I think you said it perfectly, Dove. We both are heading in the same direction, and that is back to Golden one day.”
A soft smile played on my lips. “Did we just skip over another stage of dating?”
“Probably, but it’s not like I’m going to ask you to marry me right now, right?” he winked and tossed back the covers. “The cameras aren’t even around.”
