The Attachment and Bonding Center of Ohio specializes in working with children and adolescents who have a variety of difficulties related to their capacity to attach to others. Almost all of the clients are in adoptive families as a result of early infancy and childhood trauma. These traumas include physical and sexual abuse, profound neglect, and lack of appropriate stimulation. The staff at the center also helps new adoptive families develop strategies for enhancing attachment.
