Canyonlands National Park is open every day of the year. Needles and Island in the Sky Visitor Centers and Hans Flat Ranger Station, located in the Maze District, are open every day except for Christmas and New Year’s Day. See the Visitor Centers section for complete operating hours. Summers are hot and dry, winters are cold and snow poses a serious problem for hikers and drivers. Spring and fall bring temperate weather and the majority of visitors.
