SEARED TUNA WITH AVOCADO & KIWI FRUIT SALSA

SERVES 4

4 tuna steaks

oil, for brushing

salt and freshly ground black pepper

FOR THE SALSA

2 avocados, pitted and finely diced

4 large kiwi fruit, diced

small handful of coriander, chopped

juice of ½–1 lime

To make the salsa, combine the avocados, kiwi fruit and coriander and season with salt and pepper. Squeeze the lime juice over, toss well and set aside. Brush the tuna steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick pan until hot, add the fish and sear for 1–2 minutes on each side until cooked but still pink in the middle. Serve with the salsa.
