These shadow makers give your little ones a good excuse to run round the house in the dark with a torch/flashlight in hand. They work just as well in front of a sunny window too.
If your little one is keen to put on their own productions why not help them to make their own shadow puppet theatre? All you need is a big cardboard box, a white sheet and a lamp. Once rehearsals have finished, make a big bowl of popcorn and round up some family members to watch the show!

Be even more eco-friendly and use a wind up torch/flashlight!
Photocopy the templates (see Using templates). Cut out the templates and place them onto a piece of card then draw around the shapes.
Cut out the shapes using a craft knife (grown-ups only) or a pair of scissors.
Use a piece of sticky tape to attach a sturdy wooden stick to the back of each shape.
Pull the curtains and use a torch/flashlight to project the shapes onto the wall.
