Dear Reader,

From the moment I introduced readers to Hannah and Randy in the novella A Merry Wyoming Christmas, I knew I had to write their story. Hannah is such an energetic, generous, fun woman—the kind of friend I love to have in real life! She needed a man who would appreciate all she brings to a relationship, and Randy didn’t know it at first, but he was that man.

Secrets have a way of isolating us from the people we love. Randy’s decision not to tell anyone about his chronic health problem is common. It’s natural to want to protect our loved ones from pain and from worry. But by doing so, Randy was shortchanging his brother and Hannah. When he did confide in them, they helped lighten his burdens. God is good at putting people in our lives when we need them the most.

And Ned! Oh, how I love that dog. I’m so glad he found a home where he could use his gifts to help Randy, and I applaud Hannah for unselfishly allowing him to be with Randy when she wanted to bond with the dog herself. Service dogs are incredible, wonderful animals. I’m thankful for everyone who helps train them.

I hope you enjoyed this book. I love connecting with readers. Feel free to email me at jill@jillkemerer.com or write me at PO Box 2802, Whitehouse, Ohio, 43571.

Jill Kemerer
