Tahoe Trail Trekkers, part of the American Volksport Association, sponsors hiking, cycling, and winter sports events in the Lake Tahoe region. The website is www.tahoetrailtrekkers.org.

Reno

Nevada Trail Maps.com, an online trails clearinghouse created and maintained by the University of Nevada–Reno’s Great Basin Institute, provides basic information and detailed maps for routes throughout the state.
