We should update our IAM roles for Redshift by adding the following additional policies:
- AmazonS3FullAccess
- AmazonAthenaFullAccess
- AWSGlueConsoleFullAccess
Spectrum will use the Glue or Athena data catalog. It is important to have the data in the region as our Redshift cluster. That's why we are going to use the UNLOAD command: so that we have the data in the same network with our Redshift. In real life, we can query data from other VPC in the same region.
