Kathy Shuker was born in Wigan, England. After training and working as a physiotherapist, she studied design and went on to work as a freelance artist in oils and watercolours. Now writing full-time, she lives in Devon with her husband. Silent Faces, Painted Ghosts is her second novel. Her first novel: Deep Water, Thin Ice is available as an ebook and in paperback.
