For their safety, children must be accompanied by an adult or seated at the Kids Take It Apart Table.
Visitors are always responsible for their own items. The Repair Cafe team can’t be held responsible for any unattended items.
All work carried out in the Repair Cafe is performed free of charge, on a voluntary basis, by the repair persons (AKA Repair Coaches) at hand.
Visitors carry out the repairs themselves whenever possible, but Repair Coaches can help.
If you offer items for repair, you do so at your own risk.
The organizers, sponsors, and any and all event co-sponsors of Repair Cafe Warwick, the Warwick Senior Center, Community2gether, Sustainable Warwick, Wickham Works, repair persons, and any and all volunteers, are not liable for any physical damage or loss resulting from work performed at the Repair Cafe.
Persons making repairs offer no guarantees and are not liable if objects repaired in the Repair Cafe turn out not to work properly at home.
Use of new materials supplied by the Repair Coaches such as leads, plugs, fuses, bike parts, etc., will be paid for separately.
Repair Coaches are entitled to refuse to repair certain objects at their discretion.
Repair Coaches are not obliged to reassemble disassembled appliances and other items that cannot be repaired.
Visitors to the Repair Cafe are solely responsible for the tidy removal of items that could not be repaired.
To cut down on unnecessary waiting times, during busy periods, a maximum of TWO items per person, including knives, scissors, and tools, will be examined.
Visitors will join the back of the line if they want to have a third item examined by a Repair Coach.
The Repair Cafe is free, but we do have expenses. A voluntary donation is greatly appreciated.
I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THE HOUSE RULES.
