Applying Dimensions

  1. Click Annotation > Model Items imageon the CommandManager.
  2. Select Source > Entire model and uncheck the Import items into all views option on the PropertyManager.
  3. Click on the front view.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Drag and arrange the dimensions as shown.

  1. On the CommandManager, click Annotation > Hole Calloutimage.
  2. Select the counterbore hole and position the hole callout as shown.

  1. On the CommandManager, click Annotation > Smart Dimensionimage.
  2. Select the center marks of the holes.
  3. Move the pointer in the region between the holes and click to position the dimension.

  1. Select the R1 dimension and type-in the text in the Dimension Text box on the PropertyManager.

  1. Click Close Dialog on the PropertyManager and position the dimension properly.

  1. Dimension the pitch circle diameter of the counterbore holes as shown.

  1. On the CommandManager, click Annotation > Model Itemsimage.
  2. Select Source > Entire model and uncheck the Import items into all views option on the PropertyManager.
  3. Click on the section view. Click OK.

  1. Click and drag the dimensions as shown.

  1. Select the 2 mm dimension and notice the highlighted origins.
  2. Click and drag the endpoints to the new locations as shown.

  1. Likewise, modify the origins of other dimensions as shown.

  1. Select the lines, as shown.
  2. Move the pointer toward right and click to place the dimension.

  1. Likewise, add the counterbore dimension.

  1. Select the counterbore dimension.
  2. On the PropertyManager, under the Tolerance/Precision section, set the Tolerance Type to Bilateral.
  3. Set the tolerance parameters as shown.

  1. Click Close Dialog.

  1. Likewise, apply the other dimensions, as shown below.
