Journalist Rosie Whitehouse has spent over 20 years travelling with her five children. She has interrailed to the Arctic Circle and crisscrossed Europe by car numerous times with her kids bundled in the back seat. Her travels began in the south of France, and took her to revolutionary Romania and the war-torn Balkans, where she lived for five years. Rosie’s reporter husband is both French and English, as are her children. With family in Paris, Rosie has explored every nook and cranny of the French capital, and has spent most of her adult life deciphering what makes the French tick.
