WHERE CAN YOU DO YOGA?

If you are interested in building strength with yoga, a yoga studio is a great place to start. Yoga studios often feature many different types of classes and teachers. Some gyms also have yoga classes in their fitness or aerobic studios. Look for classes with names like Power Yoga, Yoga Flow, Vinyasa Yoga, and Yoga for Athletes. These active classes will highlight strength building poses.

If you don't live near a gym or yoga studio, don't worry. You can do yoga anywhere, at any time. Yoga mats, yoga clothes, and yoga props are nice, but they aren't necessary. All you really need to practice yoga is a quiet place with a flat, level area. Experiment with different poses. If something feels challenging or makes your muscles sore, keep working on it! Soon your muscles will grow stronger and the poses you find difficult will become easier.
