Afterword

Dear Reader,

Oh my! There were times there when I wondered if Xander and Elaheh would overcome their differences. But it’s often the case that, when someone is overly standoffish, defensive, or aggressive, they’re simply scared. And that was true in Elaheh’s case. Luckily for her, Xander wanted to understand her. And, in so doing, came to love her, and heal her. He also came to understand and recover from the traumatic incident which scarred his own life.

I hope you enjoyed Surrender to the Sheikh. In case you haven’t read the other books in the The Sheikhs of Havilah series, they are:

The next, and last, book in this series wasn’t planned. But I had to know what happened to Ashley! And so Taken for the Sheikh’s Harem was born.

A powerful sheikh, a feminist academic, and a harem...

Dr. Ashley Maitland is an academic who is determined to leave her painful past behind her and forge a university career for herself—even if that means she has to write a sensational book about harems.

So she travels to the medieval country of Irem which is as mysterious as its king, Sheikh Zyir. But there she discovers that the only way she can complete her research is to join the sheikh's harem!
