Why pay for store-bought glass cleaner when you can make your own at home for next to nothing? The lemon essential oil in this recipe keeps your glass sparkling clean.

1 cup vinegar
1⁄4 cup rubbing alcohol
1⁄4 teaspoon liquid Castile soap
10 drops lemon essential oil
TO MAKE: Combine all ingredients in a large spray bottle. Shake well.

TO STORE: Store indefinitely in spray bottle.
Using newspaper is a great way to get windows clean and lint-free! Some theorize that since newspaper is specifically made to hold the ink, it also grabs any dirt that’s on your windows, mirrors, or other glass surfaces and holds it tight—safely and inexpensively cleaning these hard-to-clean surfaces.
