DRY SHAMPOO FOR LIGHT HAIR

Busy? Try this dry shampoo recipe with rosemary and tea tree essential oils to remove odors while soaking up excess oils. It’s the perfect fix for busy days when you don’t have time to hop in the shower, or for when you want to freshen up after a workout.

YIELD: 12 cup

12 cup arrowroot powder

2 drops rosemary essential oil

2 drops tea tree essential oil

TO MAKE: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Transfer mixture to a small covered jar.

TO USE: Dip a makeup brush into the powder mixture. Tap off excess powder on edge of jar. Apply to roots of hair and slightly down strands of hair as well. Using a hair brush, brush your hair from root to tip to work in the dry shampoo. Allow to sit for several minutes, then style as usual.

TO STORE: Store indefinitely in covered jar.
