Refresh tired, dry feet with this easy DIY Foot-Softening Soak. Tea tree essential oil purifies, peppermint essential oil provides a cool sensation, and lavender essential oil soothes your skin. It’s a great way to end the day!
Warm water, as needed
1 cup Epsom salts
1⁄4 cup coconut, almond, or olive oil
5 drops tea tree essential oil
5 drops peppermint essential oil
5 drops lavender essential oil
TO MAKE: Fill a large basin, tub, or shallow bucket 2⁄3 of the way full with warm water. Add Epsom salts and stir to dissolve. Add in coconut, almond, or olive oil along with tea tree, peppermint, and lavender essential oils.
TO USE: Place feet in water mixture and allow to soak until water cools completely. Remove feet from water and dry thoroughly. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer or the Cooling Foot Moisturizer found in this chapter.
