Legends say human wizards and dragons once lived and worked together in Drakenkind. But both sides became greedy. Dragons and humans both fought over the magical gems that made them more powerful. Thus began the Gem Wars.

The wise Eternal Draken found a solution. He stripped all humans of their magic. Then he forced each dragon to bond with a human to gain one type of elemental magic. Now, the two races must work together as caretakers of their world.
