Acts 5: He’ll change your experience of the Holy Spirit.

Peter had a new friend who may have been invisible to others but was a reality to him. He told the Sanhedrin, the supreme Jewish court, “We are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him” (Acts 5:32).

The disciples did not say, “We are His witnesses and so is Mary Magdalene.” Or, “So are the soldiers who were there.” The Holy Spirit was real to them, and the evidence of His presence in their life was there for all to see. “God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will” (Heb. 2:4 Kjv). This was part of the power that Jesus had promised to them before He ascended into heaven (Acts 1:8).

Oh, how wonderful it is to have the Holy Spirit as your Friend and Companion and to experience His reality each and every moment.
