Downloading the list of survey items – body_namcsopd.pdf

1. Navigate to the CDC NHAMCS home page: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/ahcd/ahcd_questionnaires.htm.
2. Scroll to the middle of the page, to the List of Survey Items, 1973-2012 heading.
3. Click on the link labeled NAMCS and NHAMCS Survey Content Brochure [Revised 11/2012].

 

4. The link should take you to a PDF page at the https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/ahcd/body_namcsopd.pdf URL. This is the list of survey items.
5. Use your browser to download the file. Then use your File Explorer to move it to the desired directory.
