In addition to his writing, Weber is the founder and publisher of Urban Books, the largest African American publishing house in the country. He is also the CEO of Urban Books Media, which has written and produced four films adapted from his books: The Man in 3B, The Preacher’s Son, The Choir Director, and No More Mr. Nice Guy. Weber has recently partnered with Queen Latifah’s film production arm, Flavor Unit, to produce seven more films and two television series.
Weber graduated from Virginia State University and holds an MBA in marketing from the University of Virginia. He lives between Georgia, Los Angeles, and New York, where he is hard at work writing and producing his next film and working on his next best-selling novel.
