Green Chiles Nachos

Ingredients:

8 ounces (227 g) tortilla chips
•
3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
•
2 (7-ounce / 198-g) cans chopped green chilies, drained
•
1 (8-ounce / 227-g) can tomato sauce
•
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
•
¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
•
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
•
Pinch cinnamon
•
Pinch cayenne pepper
Directions:

Arrange the tortilla chips close together in a single layer in the baking pan. Sprinkle 1½ cups of the cheese over the chips.

Arrange the green chilies over the cheese as evenly as possible. Top with the remaining 1½ cups of the cheese.

Select “Roast,” temperature to 375ºF (190ºC), and set time to 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, stir the remaining ingredients in a bowl for the sauce.

Remove from when done, then drizzle the sauce over the nachos and serve warm.
