Chapter Fifteen

“I’m starving, Leo.” Fidencia whispered, walking down the jet-way arm in arm as they deplaned in San Francisco.

“I know, ma chérie, but you must be patient,” Léonide cooed into her ear.

“But Leo, I’ve had nothing since the layover in London,” she whined. “There wasn’t enough time in New York.”

“As soon as we reach the hotel, we shall grab a snack.” He patted the dark-haired beauty’s hand on his arm.

“You promise?” She pouted like a petulant child, her bottom crimson-painted lip protruding.

“Yes, love, I promise.” Léonide smiled.

The long wait, coupled with the long ride to the hotel, had Fidencia practically chomping at the bit. At one-point Léonide was afraid she might attack one of their fellow passengers in the hotel shuttle before they arrived at their final destination.

“I must use the ladies’ room,” she announced as Léonide was registering for their suite.

Léonide glared a warning at her. “Do not be long, dear,” he cautioned.

She returned just in time to join him and the porter for the ride up in the elevator. Léonide could smell the blood on her.

“Better?” he asked.

“Oh much, thank you.” She pulled out a compact and adjusted her very red lipstick. “There were two very nice women in the ladies' room who were most accommodating.” She smiled sweetly.

Léonide raised an eyebrow.

“I might meet them for lunch while we are here one day,” she said.

Ah, so they’re still alive, then, he thought, relieved.

“Making friends already, I see.” He chuckled before going back to check the bell hop’s tight ass in the form-fitting uniform pants.

“What about you, darling?” Fidencia inquired. “Are you going to grab that snack?” Her head tilted almost imperceptibly toward the young, handsome man facing away from them.

The porter opened the door to their suite, rolled the luggage cart into the room, and unloaded it.

“Is there anything else I may do for you?” The young man’s uniform fit him well, showing off his great physique.

“As a matter of fact…” Léonide handed the man a twenty-dollar bill, then grabbed his hand and pulled him closer. He looked deeply into the bell hop’s eyes, quieting any objections before he gently tilted the man’s head and pierced his carotid artery. Léonide sighed as he drank. The porter’s eyes half-closed and his jaw dropped open, a look of ecstasy on his face.

Léonide withdrew after licking the open wound closed with the point of his tongue. Smiling at the handsome blond man, he glanced at the employee name tag. “What time do you get off work….Steve?”

“Five this afternoon.” Steve’s smile revealed perfect, white teeth.

“Perhaps you would like to have a cocktail with me?” Léonide poured on the charm. “Maybe show me and my companion some of your fair city?”

“It would be my pleasure, sir,” Steve replied, still smiling.

“Leo, please call me Leo. And this fair creature is my friend Fidencia.”

“Pleased to meet you, Ma’am.”

“The pleasure is all mine.” Fidencia giggled, “Or it will be….” She let the words trail off as she turned and went into one of the lavishly furnished bedrooms.

“Then we shall see you shortly after five this afternoon, Steve?” Léonide caressed the man’s broad chest.

“Sure, Leo, I’ll see you then.” That bright smile flashed once more, and then he was gone.

“Fidencia,” Léonide called out.

He walked into the female vampire’s room to find her standing there in black lace panties and bra. He took in her curvaceous figure and long, black wavy hair, and noted how stunningly beautiful she was. He could just make out her dusky rose nipples showing through the black lace of her bra. She was enough to make a gay man—or vampire—think about going straight.

He went to her and pulled her into his arms. “You, my love, are still one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.”

Fidencia threw her head back and laughed. “Yes, so you have said before, but you still prefer the boys, darling.” She looked up, her eyes twinkling. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” She stood on her toes and kissed him on the cheek. “Now, I must have a shower.”

“I need one myself. We have time to shower and sleep before our new tour guide will be here, so take your time, love.”

“I plan to,” she quipped, already having turned towards her private bath.

“Thank you for coming to see me, Vincent. I am sorry that you had to travel so far, but this is the only place I know for sure where we will have complete privacy.”

Vincent bowed low. “Anything for you, my Queen,” the Frenchman gushed.

Hatshepsut motioned for the man to sit. “Vincent, do you have any information for me?”

“I am so sorry, your Majesty, I do not.” The elder vampire’s face crinkled in dismay.

“Are we still of the opinion that Léonide is not acting alone?”

“I am positive that Fidencia is helping him, but I do not believe she is capable of master-minding such an elaborate scheme, my Queen.” Vincent paused before going on. “Léonide Durand is also not capable of such a plan. He has obviously been coerced into doing these horrible things.”

“Vincent, I understand how you must be feeling.” Hatshepsut appeared strained, her patience plainly at its end. “My loyal friend, this is not the first time that your sired son has been caught up in such destructive behavior, nor is it Fidencia’s.”

Vincent Mercier hung his head. He knew this to be the truth. In all of his seven-hundred and ninety-nine years, the last four-hundred and eighty-one had been fraught with disappointment, hurt and shame. His vampire son, whom he loved with all his heart and soul, had brought him much dishonor. The man with whom he was to share his love, his bed and eternity, had intertwined himself in such a diabolical scheme that Vincent knew that when he was caught—and he would be caught, of that Vincent was certain—it would mean his certain death, and there was nothing Vincent could do about it.

“Vincent, have you heard from him at all?”

“No, Your Majesty, I have not,” Vincent answered honestly. “I have even hired a security service to watch his homes and normal haunts, and there has been nothing new. I even went so far as to have Fidencia’s places of habit watched. Still nothing.”

“I thank you, Vincent, for your diligence.” Hatshepsut was clearly ready to end this meeting for now.

“Your Majesty, there is something that still makes no sense to me.” Vincent moved to the edge of his seat. “This whole plan is not something that Léonide would want. What I mean is, Léonide has never before mentioned that he wanted to be considered an equal to humans. In fact, it has always been the exact opposite, so I do not understand this.”

“Please elaborate, Vincent. What do you mean?” The oldest vampire alive sat back and waited.

“Léonide has always considered humans to be…inferior,” Vincent began, looking off into space as he tried to find the best way to explain. “He prefers to toy with them, have them as servants to serve his labor needs, as well as his food. All of this is so out of character for him.”

“Do you feel he is being forced, Vincent?”

“Honestly, I do not know.” Vincent put his face into his hands momentarily. “I do not know what to think anymore.”

“Poor Vincent, I know all too well how you must feel.” The stately woman rose and placed her hand on the tortured vampire’s head. “There is nothing more painful than to be betrayed by those who we love.”

This was as much as the Frenchman could take. A hard, mournful sob escaped his lips. “I tried so hard with him, Hatshepsut. I tried so hard.”

“I know my, friend, I do know this.” the Queen soothed him.

Léonide adjusted the collar of his white silk shirt as Fidencia slunk into his room.

“Wow, don’t you look scrumptious, my pet!”

“Thank you, kind sir.” Fidencia’s manner was flirtatious. “It appears we both had the same idea.”

“It appears we did,” Léonide agreed as he walked around the gorgeous vixen. “What possessed you to wear these black leather jodhpurs?”

“Because they go so well with the boots,” she replied as if he should have known the answer. She modeled the knee-high, very high-heeled boots.

“You look like a very sexy pirate with the black leather corset and white pirate shirt.” He stroked her blush-covered cheek.

“This was the notorious Barbary Coast, was it not?” She giggled as he tickled her neck lightly. “And what about yourself, you handsome cad? Black leather jeans, white silk shirt, and I’m sure that black leather double breasted vest you’ve been dying to wear is going to complete your ensemble. It is so rare to see you in black anymore. I miss it terribly, Leo. You are so handsome in black.”

“I have strict orders not to stand out.” He frowned as he pulled on the black leather vest to which Fidencia had referred. “Colorful leathers have yet to catch on here, I’m afraid.”

“Oh, and who are these orders from?”

“Ahhh, my sweet, all in good time,” Léonide chided her.

“When am I to find out who this mysterious benefactor of yours is?” She pouted.

“As I told you, Fidencia, all in due time.” Léonide kissed the top of his accomplice‘s head just as there was a knock on the hotel room door. “It appears that our tour guide has arrived!” Léonide went to let the handsome porter in and left Fidencia to check her appearance once more in the full-length mirror. He led Steve into the lounge and they began kissing passionately.

“Ah-hem.” Fidencia cleared her throat, alerting Leonide to her presence.

“Oh, sorry, my love.” Léonide turned to her and smiled. “You do remember our new friend, Steve, do you not?”

“Of course, Leo, who could forget such a good-looking man." She smiled at the human. “I will make us a drink,” she said, tossing her hair as she made her way to the stocked bar. “What may I get you, Steve?”

“Um…beer, please.”

“Leo, your usual?”

“Yes please.” Léonide led the blond hunk in Levis and T-shirt to the sofa.

Fidencia served the two men. Léonide sat close to Steve while she sat opposite them on a matching sofa.

“A toast.” Léonide held up his snifter of brandy. “To new friends.”

“To new friends,” Fidencia echoed as she sipped the amber American whiskey.

After the toast, Léonide took the blond’s cheek in his hand and turned to face him. “You will stand and strip for us,” he intoned.

Without a word, the blond set his beer on the coffee table, stood and removed all his clothing. The two vampires watched as he revealed his beauty that had been hidden away.

“He is indeed quite the specimen,” Fidencia said admiringly. “You have such a good eye, Leo.”

“I do, don’t I? He smells so good.” Léonide sniffed the air around the naked man. Steve clearly took care of himself, his toned body evidence of a man who used a gym regularly. A well-hung man, Léonide noted with a smile.

“Impressive,” Fidencia added.

Léonide stood, turned the man by the shoulders and pushed him to his bedroom. He looked over his shoulder at Fidencia, “I can’t wait. I must have him now.”

The female vampire laughed, good-naturedly. “I get to watch.”

Steve stretched out on the bed, his hands behind his head, biceps bulging as he watched Léonide slowly remove his clothing. Steve must have liked what he saw since his thick manhood grew rapidly.

Fidencia settled in the chair next to the curtained window and watched the two men.

We must appear quite the contrast, Leonide mused. Steve, blond and human, himself brunette and immortal.

Léonide lowered himself down on top of the reclined man, their groins meeting first. He kissed Steve passionately before moving to his neck. Once there, he nibbled and kissed the tender sweet spot before moving down to the man’s nipples, giving them the same erotic torture. They flushed a dark pink as they turned to small hard pebbles, sticking up like erasers on the end of a pencil. Léonide then slithered down the rapidly-breathing blond, dragging his tongue through the treasure trail from his navel to the trimmed, dark blond pubic hair.

He tormented the poor human by sucking and licking everywhere but the blood-engorged member that was bouncing and jerking, leaving a trail of clear fluid wherever it touched the man’s stomach.

“Please.” Steve gripped the sheets.

Léonide smiled evilly. He gazed into the poor man’s eyes as he slowly went down on the eight-inch dick, not stopping until his nose mashed into the pubic bone. Steve arched, his head thrown back, a gurgling sound stuck in his throat. Léonide continued to suck on the man, bringing him to the brink several times, making him beg again and again.

Just as slowly as he went down on him, Léonide pulled off, leaving the spit-slick phallus throbbing in the air. He crawled up the man, again kissing him deeply while he positioned his knees on either side of Steve’s ribcage. Still kissing him, Léonide reached behind himself, took the man’s hard dick in hand and positioned it at his anal opening. As slowly as he had swallowed the man, he sank down, burying the dick inside him.

Steve’s eyes became as big as cup saucers when Léonide sat up and ground himself on his cock.

“Oh my God,” Steve gasped. “No one has ever been able to do that without lube!”

“I’m talented.” Léonide impaled himself almost violently on the mortal, over and over again. He knew it wouldn’t be long before the beautiful man discharged his seed. Léonide watched carefully, waiting for just the right moment. When the dick lodged deep in his ass swelled, he knew it was time. He leaned in toward Steve’s neck, let his long fangs extend, and then pierced the man’s artery, letting the hot blood flow over his tongue as Steve’s orgasm overcame him. Léonide felt Steve’s heartbeat slow. As his orgasm came to an end, so did his life as his blood drained.

Léonide disengaged himself from the corpse beneath him. A pool of his own ejaculate, tinged slightly pink, lay spread out on Steve’s still abdomen and chest. Léonide turned to smile at Fidencia as a thin stream of Steve’s semen slid down his inner thigh. Then he lay beside the hunky blond. He bit into his own wrist, opened a vein, and then pressed the open wound to the dead man’s mouth, allowing his blood to trickle in. It didn’t take long before Steve’s eyelids fluttered then opened.

Léonide pulled his wrist away and stared down into Steve’s dark blue, sparkling eyes.

“Wow, that was intense.” Steve smiled.

“Not as intense as it is going to be.” Léonide returned his smile before kissing the man gently.

Fidencia stood up and applauded. “Well done, Leo. You are still a master at that.”

“Thank you, ma chérie,” Léonide said, accepting the compliment.

“Certainly, that must be the best way to die.” She giggled as she approached the bed, looking down at the two men. She glanced at the digital clock next to the bed and then looked out the window. “And what perfect timing—the sun has completely set.”

“It will take him about an hour before he has fully transitioned. How about another cocktail while we wait for our new son?”

“You always have such splendid ideas, Leo,” Fidencia quipped, slinging back her hair as she turned and strode out of the bedroom.

“Come, my love.” Léonide held out his hand to Steve who took it before standing. He reached for his jeans to put on. “Never mind those, there is no need for them.”

“But I’m naked and…well, she’s…” Steve stammered.

“It isn’t like she hasn’t already seen everything, sweet.” Léonide smiled. “You will soon get over such trivial modesty.”

Steve’s hand went to his neck to touch the newly-healed wound. “You bit me?”

Léonide pulled the man to him and kissed Steve’s lips softly. “Yes, Steve. Soon you will be one of us.”

“What do you mean, one of you?”

Léonide pulled Steve into the living room area of the hotel suite. Steve’s eyebrows knitted together in confusion. Léonide sat on the overstuffed sofa and tugged Steve to sit down beside him while Fidencia handed each man a beverage.

“Such beauty,” Fidencia commented as she sat opposite the two males. “Soon you will be a vampire, like us,” she answered for Léonide.

Steve laughed. “Yeah, right. A vampire.” He took a long sip of his beer and then looked at the bottle strangely. “This tastes…funny.”

“Things will be different for you from this day forward, my love.” Léonide kissed his neck. “You will soon see.”

Suddenly, without warning, Steve doubled over, grabbing his stomach. He groaned in pain, his teeth gritted tightly, the muscles in his jaw standing out. “What is happening to me?”

“Your body is in the final stages of death,” Fidencia answered the man casually.
