Dear Ms.Orr,
My new wife, Rona, and my adult daughter, Davayah, are big fans of your romance novels. They exchange them and discuss them all the time. Davayah is actually three months older than Rona so, although I might have some snow on the roof, there’s still a fire somewhere. Women of all ages can sense that about me. Although I’m not the best looking guy in the world my sexuality is obvious to the gals.
As you more than anyone must know, some women prefer older men. A few of your novels are about these types of relationships. How about using me on the jacket of one of your novels with this theme of May-December romance? (Enclosed find a current picture.) It might be a kick having a semi-recognizable face gracing one of your book covers. It also might sell more books. You just pay me what you pay your regular models.
Rona and Davayah would go bananas when that book hits the stands. I wouldn’t dream of telling them beforehand. It would kill the whole surprise.
Let me know what you think,
Gabe Kaplan
PS You can airbrush any photo of me as much as you want
