BLUEBERRY SYRUP

Blueberries and blueberry preserves make this syrup burst with flavor. Try it over your favorite waffles, French toast or pancakes.

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup blueberry preserves

1 teaspoon maple flavoring

In a saucepan, combine the sugars, blueberries and water. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in the preserves and maple flavoring. Refrigerate leftovers.
