Acknowledgments

A special word of thanks to the folks at Maui Pineapple Plantation (waving to Debbie, Lacey, Mary and Ken!) These fine folks let me hang with them and see how pineapples are planted, grown and harvested.

Did you know pineapple crowns are planted in the earth by hand? The pineapples then take fourteen to fifteen months to grow. Maui is known for wild pigs and if they break through the fencing, they can eat a football field worth of produce in no time.

The Maui Pineapples are picked to order and are the sweetest treat you’ll ever pop in your mouth…no, really! I had such a fun time on the tour and learned so much. You guys were so supportive of this series and my heart is filled with gratitude.

Thanks also to Elizabeth Mackey for the fabulous cover designs, to Jones House Creative for my web design, to Samantha Hanni of A Word in Season and the rest of my editors, proofreaders and my publishing team. Special thanks to my personal assistant, Danielle Woods. You guys all make this business so much easier, and definitely more fun!

Hugs and a lot of gratitude to my best-selling author friend and critique partner, Jodi Vaughn, who made this book so much better.

To all the readers who hang with me at She’s Reading, you are a blast! I can’t believe how much fun it is to do those live author chats and introduce you to my author buddies.

Finally, thanks to my readers. All this is for you!
