Re-Uploads: How does it work best?
« on: August 25, 2021, 12:23:38 AM »
Greetings dear knowing ones,

I'm a bit unsure what's going on here... I uploaded optimized versions of books, included metadata, a clear comment which books they should replace and everything.

What happened is: some of the books were approved really fast (In one case I couldn't even edit the metadata and had to try again), but the old and crappy versions are still there.

So how does this work, is there a delay for deletions, or are new books just approved for the heck of it, disregarding the comments altogether?

I would really appreciate a hint how to make this work...

We should delete the old books, and if we didn't is a mistake in our place. Adding a comment about it helps a lot, usually if there is no comment is hard to know if the new version is better than the old one or just the same.

If you still have the list of old books that has being updated I'll check them out.

Thanks for the contributions, we'll try to be more careful with new submissions.
Happy reading!!!
