The Wire Donkey

In this coming-of-age novel, twenty-year-old Ocean has no gf, no car, and his job stacking produce is in question. Plus he must watch his good works project--Oregon Organ Donors League--blow up. He has to leave town. And he does with a wise, older woman. By turns sacred and secular, Ocean journeys to discover his calling in life, riding his wire donkey across a Rose City known for beer, bikes, and books.
