The Alliance can’t be trusted, the Vrang are searching for Haven with all of their forces, and Earth intends to take back control of Haven. But the humans on Haven and the alien Truet Warriors fighting with them do not intend to give in to the forces confronting them. They will keep the faith and live or die together against all odds.

Excerpt: The Alien and Epic Story 2:

“Captain, the planet is inhabited but it appears the inhabitants have not developed stardrive technology. There are satellites above the planet, and I’ve detected sources of atomic energy on the planet’s surface.”

“Are you able to see any of the inhabitants on the surface?”

The scanning officer stared at his console and shook his head, “Not directly but the inhabitants do not match the frequency of human life forms.”

“Mark this planet’s coordinates in the database. Prepare to…”

“CAPTAIN! A SHIP IS MOVING IN ON US AT HIGH-SPEED!” his scanning officer shouted.

Demetri jerked his head to the tactical monitor and saw a blue blip moving in at an incredible speed. “Power up the thrusters and activate the stardrive!”

The warship flashed in and fired a powerful blaster beam just in front of the Earth ship. Demetri saw that his vessel was in range of the approaching ships weapons and escape wasn’t going to be easily done. “CAPTAIN, MORE THAN A HUNDRED WARSHIPS ARE MOVING IN AROUND OUR VESSEL!”

Demetri saw numerous blips on the monitor, “Speed of their approach?”

The scanning officer looked up from his console, “Sir, they’re moving at nearly double our maximum speed.”

“What was the power of the beam that was fired?”

“Our hull cannot withstand it, Captain.”

Demetri stared at the large warship now holding position out from his ship and turned to the weapons officer, “Shutdown all weapons, Tasha.”

The action picks up speed as Haven and the Truets faceoff with enemies intent on their destruction as Haven's oldest enemy, Earth joins the fight. Epic and Rocky are forced to travel to humanity's home world to determine what they're up against and Epic knows Haven and the Truets can't take on all three simultaneously, but how can it be avoided?
