[Untamed 07] • The Threat of the Hunt

For two years, free-runner Kacey has been mapping out the Enhanced town that she and her Untamed group intend to take back. Heading the operation is Margot, the most formidable Untamed woman that Kacey has ever known, and the two of them are confident that this is it: they will outwit the Enhanced and get an Untamed base again.

But on the day of the planned attack, Kacey learns there's a traitor among their group. Someone has told the Enhanced not just of the attack, but also about the old tunnels beneath the town that the Untamed are occupying.

Barely escaping from the tunnels alive, Kacey, Margot, and the other Untamed survivors find themselves on the run, with the enemy hot on their trail. And leading the chase on the Untamed is Kacey's now-Enhanced childhood friend, Red.

Red’s already lost Keelie in his people's fight against the Untamed, and he's going to make sure that Kacey's converted, even if it's the last thing he does.

But Kacey has her own trick up her sleeve: an energy she does not understand flows through her body, and with each day, it's growing more powerful and uniting her with others who also wield the same energy.

Soon, the energy will explode, because there’s only so long the Dangerous Ones can be contained.
