Blue Light of Home

When the Vaaji Empire conquers a world, it is a careful process combining covert study with an overwhelming show of force. As it turns out, Skye Westlocke, humble Space Administration maintenance worker, is one of Earth's women. Now she finds herself trapped in a tiny pod in orbit over Earth with only the alien she is expected to 'serve' for company. But the kind of submission Vala expects takes some getting used to, and it could be years before his work is done with nothing for Skye to do except cross days off her calendar and stare out the window at the distant blue light of home.

The Blue Light of Home is a 5 chapter spanking romance with sci-fi themes. If you like spanking romance and/or sci-fi novels, and even if you don't, this book is well worth the read with Robin Smith's witty repartee and true-to-life, poignant characters. If you don't like spanking in your romances and the idea of a hero turning his lady bottom-up across the knee offends, you might want to give this one a miss.
