After losing his job at the paper in the city, investigative journalist Luke Cooper finds himself moving back to his tiny mountain hometown of Crystal Falls. Where he immediately finds himself a suspect in his uncle's murder, and while covering the local cinnamon festival, he also has to see if he can find the real murderer with the help of his mom, his old high school best bud, and his dog Bandit.
